Yoga is central to Fareen’s life experience. She has had a yoga and meditation practice for over 10 years. She says, ” My daily practice keeps me present, centered, grounded and balanced in today’s fast-paced and high-stress world.”
Fareen became captivated by the subtle connection of breathe, mind and emotions, and the beautiful way yoga teaches us who we are. She has a holistic understanding of yoga and a nurturing style that encourages students to follow their inner teacher.
She is a Langara College Yoga Teacher Training 250 hours graduate and travelled to Rishikesh, India to deepen her practice and studies at the Anand Prakash Ashram. Off the mat, she studied nutrition and human anatomy at UBC, and psychology at Stanford University as well as Ayurvedic medicine, and brings this extensive knowledge to her teaching. She has tremendous gratitude for her teachers, mentors, leaders and guides for providing unlimited compassion, support and guidance along her spiritual path.
